Hey hey to YOU. I may not know the identity of Geist, but there is something I do know - good music, and it comes from slaving over it for years. I was raised in the underground back when raves were innovative and Deee-lite wasn't a thing of the past. Talk about a colorful environment that one could expect. "Hey Hey" is part of Geist's newest 5-song EP called #ExpectColor and it's giving me the kind of flashbacks where hallucinogenic side effects are welcomed. That deep house beat is so grandiose it really should be called deep mansion and only listened to while wearing a Tom Ford suit and posing with a Tesla. All utterly genius and without a doubt, big-minded. It's no wonder Dennis Ferrer & Shingai Shoniwa wanted to come along for the ride. Because Geist goes 0 to 60 in 3.2 seconds.
