[Premiere] Hopscotch - So Savage

LA star on the rise, Hopscotch, has been making a name for herself with her carefully crafted trap stylings and future bass. Few artists seem to be able to come close to the swagger, attitude, and talent of the producer/vocalist/DJ, and it definitely shows. Her tracks are universally appealing, keeping just enough pop flavor to draw in the bass music outsiders and a steady supply of bass and heavy beats for the diehards. Her latest track, "So Savage," is a massive pop trap dreamscape, wrapping a massive low end and broken beats in a reverb drenched haze, hypnotic chimes and heavily manipulated vocals. It's hard and restrained at the same time, never giving too much to either one side to find a comfortable balance.
