Tegan and Sara - Walking With A Ghost (Manila Killa Remix)

"Walking With A Ghost" is one of those songs that has not aged at all. It's always been on of my favorite Tegan & Sara tracks and still manages to feel completely current ten years after the fact. Seeing that it is actually ten years old now, they're gearing up for an anniversary edition release of So Jealous, luckily bringing in some top notch remixers to give the album a whole new life. One of DC's best and brightest, Manila Killa, was picked for "Walking With A Ghost" and the result couldn't be more perfect. He twists the track into a lush, synth filled burst of color, with stuttering rhythms and tropical flavorings. He keeps the song intact too, so that it still manages to feel completely familiar. This is easily one of the best remixes we've heard in a while.
