The Chainsmokers feat SirenXX: Kanye (Dave Edwards Remix)
NYC based producer Dave Edwards returns to remix duties not long after releasing his extraordinary rendition of Viceory & Penguin Prison’s “The Life.” This time, Dave takes on the popular hit by the Chainsmokers & SirenXX “Kanye.” While this tune has undoubtedly seen its fair share of remixes thus far, Dave is able to breathe a new sense of life into the track by installing a bouncy indie house chord progression and a topline melody that will remain stuck in your head long after you have finished listening. In his own words, “Siren's vocal to me has a great indie vibe and is unusual for a progressive house track, so I tried to stay true to that with the remix and compliment the vocal with a really clean and stripped down breakdown that leaves a lot of space in the mix. Throw in a catchy piano house riff and a melodic drop and I couldn't be happier with how this one turned out.
