Angel Olsen: Windows (Music Video)
Angel Olsen premieres, with the release of a digital deluxe edition of her second studio album Burn Your Fire for No Witness, the accompanying music video for the album’s closing track ‘Windows’. The video depicts a comfortingly abysmal account of a depression that persists, despite the woman being surrounded by beauty, youth, and happiness. It’s as much Olsen’s personal reflection as it is a challenge to the listeners, encouraging us to take the leap, to open the window to a better headspace, and asking with objection: “what’s so wrong with the light?”.
