Monogem: Simple Things (Miguel Cover)

I love listening to covers before listening to the original, Remix to Ignition style. Monogem's take on Miguel's Simple Things adds this dark, moody element to the song. I think we can all agree it's tough to cover a song when the original has such strong vocals, but Monogem handles it swimmingly. The vocals are pretty, layered, and the instrument is used in a different way so as not to play the comparison game. It's definitely worth a few spins.
