Girlfriend's Varsity EP is three cuts of irresistible low fi dream pop that sounds equal parts nostalgic summers and the headstrong confidence of teenage love. "Runner" in particular is a day dream, with singer Syndey Banta's vocals floating out of a sea of fuzzy synths and guitar riffs to reminisce delicately on past relationships. Listen below:
