If you know me, you know I was smiling ear to ear from the first two chords in this tune. And if you really know me, you'll know I was shoving this record into all my friend's ears as soon as the last note struck.
Seriously, this is some sublime nu-disco. Prancing piano, topsy-turvy bass, and more string stabs than you can shake a stick at. Oliver Nelson has me swooning hard over here. I get that's it's Thursday night but I'm playing this from now until Monday morning. It will be the funkiest Halloween ever.
