RKCB: Elision

Los Angeles based production duo RKCB have returned with the soulful soundscape, “Elision”, and it picks up the pace. The production pushes their smooth synths and bedroom-groove in a funkier direction, giving the chorus a bit of a disco a-la Jungle flavor. Casey’s falsetto vocals whisper and croon as the track intricately supports his dynamic range. While this is a bit of a departure for the duo, after the sensual downtempo “Comatose” and hypnotizing “Baptize”, their latest “Elision” ventures into some new and very promising territory.
