[VIDEO] The Knocks : Classic (feat. Powers)

Powers + The Knocks. A sweeter combination couldn't be made by the world's finest chocolatiers. With guitar licks Rodger Niles should be jealous of, and a gorgeous topline sung by POWERS' own Crista Ru This nu-disco masterpiece has quickly risen to the top of all my playlists over the last month.

And lucky for me - as of yesterday - a video treatment of Classic has been unleashed upon the world.

Directed by Brooklyn collective BANGS, the video pays homage to The Sims in all the best ways. We're talking lockstep motions, pixel-sharpened movements, and a pool party as big as - well - the lot sizes available on the original Sims game. The aesthetics are brilliantly executed and the colors are matched to a tee. (Really, all the shirts in this video complement each other perfectly.) The set is simple and effective, and I can't stop watching the scene of the blonde sinking into the water. I don't know why. It's just mesmerizing. Watch this over and over and over and over. Really, it's that good.
