Rusko: ! Volume 2

Put your headphones on and get ready for an in-office dance hour listening to "! Volume 2", Rusko's latest EP.

The EP opens with "Saxophone Stomp", which has a very electro 80's-inspired beat, making us wish we had a place to rock out with our air guitar on the dancefloor.

Speaking of all those synths, we reached out to Rusko to ask him about the new EP. What does he love most? "Really excited to bring you part 2 of my "!" Project. 6 different flavors, tempos and Styles - with my usual fun, silly vibes at the forefront again! Oh, and there's tons of slap bass and 100mph synth solos :)"

"Lytah", the third track on the EP, opens with a melody straight out of every Mario game we've ever played, before introducing full chords and yes -- more synth solos -- all on top of a pleasantly relaxed amen-inspired beat. This track reminds me of every dnb rave I ever went to where I stayed long enough to see the sun come up, continue listening to the MC who hit his stride a few hours before and just keeps slaying it, and enjoy the miracle of being alive and seeing yet another day break.
