Mary J. Blige: Right Now (Produced by Disclosure)

I'm telling you right now to listen to the new track from Mary J. Blige! Co-written by Sam Smith. Produced by Disclosure. What more could you ask for?

The R&B singer has really latched onto the British music scene as of recent. This isn't her first time working with the production duo Disclosure, nor is it her first go with musician Sam Smith. Earlier this year, she lent her vocals on Disclosure's track "F For You" and also worked with Sam Smith to record a duo-version of his mega-hit "Stay With Me." The new track, titled "Right Now," is stylized like a classic Mary J. tune but has that freshness of a Disclosure song that has us head-boppin' along. The hook is catchy. The beat is fun. It all works. And working with these talented British musical acts has inspired Mary to set up shop in London to record her next album, rightfully entitled The London Sessions (due out later this year). The songstress is also teaming up with other well-known British artists including Emeli Sandé and Naughty Boy on the upcoming album. Be on the look out for tracks with them.
