Press Photo 3 by Corinne Noodle Photography EVVY, like the moon's cool glow, instinctively draws us closer. The New York based artist radiates with an effortless iridescence that enthralls and, like the crashing tides, we can't escape her pull. "Haze," her debut single, a silvery ode to confusion in love, an expertly crafted collaboration with Mickey Valen (Noosa & AYER) was the first hint of her luminous sound. She followed 'Haze' with 'Got Me Movin' with a massive chorus and shimmering production. This summer was eclipsed by "Collide" and its bright energy, meant for late nights and finding love, illuminating the vast darkness with her warm vocals and evocative lyrics written by EVVY & collaborator Lyon Hart.

Today EVVY releases her self-titled debut EP, produced by Mickey Valen & The King (Chris Wallitsch). The seven song collection features four unreleased songs. The new additions add a both breadth and depth to her sound. "Never Let You Go" is a dazzling indie-dance track that surges with a percussive energy. 'You Said' is a glimpse at EVVY's dark side, a melancholic ballad that creeps in slowly like a shadow and lingers long after each listen. 'Swing' is an ethereal ballad that reverberates like a beacon in the limitlessness of space. 'Calling' is a wild howl - primal and gripping - calling back to the darkness to save us from heartbreak. EVVY's debut EP is a glorious departure from the predictable trajectory of pop music and has me locked in her orbit.
