Chet Faker: Gold (Music Video)
The new video for Chet Faker's "Gold" has just been released and I have to admit I'm kind of into it in a major way. For a moment or two there I almost forgot entirely that I was watching a music video and more like what could just as easily have been last nights playback of my hoodrat friends thinking it would be a good idea to have a drunken sexy roller skate photo shoot in the middle of the street at 4am because it seemed like a great idea at the time. In their case, I would probably have to disagree with the outcome of that decision. In Faker's case, quite the opposite. The video pulls off equal parts sexy and mysterious and that bourbon smooth vocal just keeps you drawn right in to the very last second.
