The Knocks: Classic

This tune by The Knocks gives me a very distinct partying at the roller rink vibe. 30 seconds into this ditty and I'm already picturing myself looking for a couples skate partner. In no time we're just a duo of 8th graders falling in like under the spell of multi-colored strobe lights and the weird stench of old carpeting and popcorn. Ah, to be young and bored in the suburbs.

The dynamic duo behind The Knocks is Ben Ruttner and James Patterson. Their names are reminiscent of a couple of distinguished mystery-thriller authors. This is perhaps why they go by "B-Roc" and "JPatt." Much more fitting for the super fun tracks they're cranking out as The Knocks. Their record comes out on August 12th. Get into it.
