BLAUS: The Tone EP

blaus Nathan & Zach Blaustone make up the electronic duo BLAUS. Merging live instrumentation with digital samples, they produce music that blends atmospheric house, experimental tech jazz, and hip-hop. That's two cool points for The Golden Gate City where the brothers are based, finding balance as sons of a pastor, and their rebellious tendencies. It's no wonder there’s a striking contrast infusing their sound, between rhythmical prose and live instrumentation. Their debut EP, 'The Tone,' is out now, with it's lead track "Give Up" leaving listeners feeling quite encouraged, actually.
