Duologue: Drag & Drop

duologue - drag & drop Most days in the office at my 9-to-5 gig, I either get a playlist going on Spotify, run my SoundCloud stream or listen to one of the BBC Radio stations on my mobile (said in a butchered British accent). Listening to music at work is scientifically proven to increase productivity (says the internet...so it's true). Today, after a long, eye-torturing 12+ hours of spreadsheet work, BBC Radio 1 Xtra played me a new track that made me forget about my hackneyed eyes and focus on what was playing in my ears.

The artist: Duologue. The track: "Drag & Drop." Me: obsessed.

"Drag & Drop" is edgy and gritty; as if it was perfected to be that way like the dark hits from The Cure and The Smiths. The song is filled with various intense synth sounds. On top of that, it showcases some passionate vocals and chilling lyrics that deepen the track into a twisted, distorted masterpiece. "Drag & Drop" is featured on the group's upcoming album release entitled Never Get Lost due out September 9, 2014.
