Ghost Beach: Moon Over Japan (Dart Party Remix)

artworks-000084708355-wpcw7n-t500x500 In celebration of Brooklyn Fire's 50th release comes a huge remix of Ghost Beach by Brooklyn's Dart Party. The original track is a soaring 80s ballad starring lead singer Josh Ocean's murderous vocals, which end up being the only part that is kept throughout the remix. Sometimes a slow vocal just won't work with an upbeat dance track, but in this case, Dart Party successfully reconstructs the entire song allowing the sped up vocal to maintain a central focus throughout. The end result is a 4 on the floor Disco House anthem, perfectly blending old school 90s piano and bass lines with arp synth textures.

Tune in this Friday to We Found New Music as Dart Party is named our Band Of The Week with the FM Radio Debut of this very song on KX 93.5 FM.
