Zola Blood: Grace

zola There's something to be said about the subtleties of electronic music. Really, it's a place where the most minute moves can make a world of a different. From fluttering synthetic oscillators to the jilting pitter-patters of a dusty old-drum machine, there's an element of precision that other genres of music have a hard time imitating.

But for Zola Blood, that world comes to life effortlessly. With bending synthesis, verbed out drums, and twisting arpeggiators lining the edges, these newcomers sheet the remaining spaces with ethereal guitars and percussion. I don't know much about this group, but I think it's safe to say that this isn't the last time we'll be hearing from them.
