Kev La Kat: 2.22

kev la kat 222 After my girlfriend bought me two charity shop beauty’s of keyboard desire. One of which had the most enchanting colourful little plastic keys but yet sadly it didn't work. When I finally got it working it to our surprise it had a mini air fan inside and made a Mellotron type singing sound. The other keyboard had a hand painted logo saying 'King Piano' which sounded like a magical toy xylophone, I broke it sometime soon after getting it. After a afternoon of fixing the first keyboard, I was the world’s greatest keyboard technician and lo and behold fixed the king too.

With both keyboards up and working i quickly set to write a piece using them by making a kick and snare loop, Playing a chord sequence on the 'Portable Organ' with the colourful keys. You can hear the flimsy plastic keys bouncing up and down the whole of 2.22. Then grabbed my bass guitar and a bass line somehow popped out of the sky, a hour of playing the hi-hats had somehow slipped by but I ended up only using the best 2 loops. Whilst topping it all of with a mini-melody from the King piano.
