[VIDEO] Minor Characters: Berlin Wall

minch We've written about Chicago indie-wundergroup Minor Characters before (In fact, we've written about them on multiple occasions), so it's no surprise to our ears that their newest release, Berlin Wall, is (as we would have guessed) brilliant.

Berlin Wall is the first single from the band's forthcoming album, Voir Dire. And holy whoa is it a doozy! Spacious guitar contrasted against a rum-tum-tumbling rhythmic backend, all locked into place by one of my favorite bass licks in years. There's a solid core to this tune, but it's wandering and childlike around the edges. Floating, but it's not weightless. And we like that. And you should like that too. (Read: You will like this.)
