The World of Lazerdisk

With so many new artists in the music world appearing everyday it can be hard to separate yourself from the rest. One of the artists that consistently pushes the boundaries of electronic music is a group called Lazerdisk. After following Lazerdisk for sometime now it's safe to say that their creative direction never seems to disappoint. Although the group continues to experiment with different genres and sounds there's always something that makes their songs unique. Some of the biggest names in the electronic community have recognized this as well such as Diplo and Steve Aoki, which is why Lazerdisk has become tastemakers in such a large industry.     Now, Lazerdisk's new remix of Sluggers - "Turbo Fade" is being released on Skrillex's label OWSLA. The track brings some heavy bass licks; unique vocal chops, and of course lasers. After listening to Skrillex's new album Recess, it's easy to see the resemblance between the 2 making it a perfect release for the OWSLA label. Nike has jumped on board with the remix as well using it in their latest spring campaign for the Air Max shoe.
