Mos Def: Climb (Dash Speaks Remix) #tbt

mos def dash speaks Remember the day and age when Juvenile was backing that thing up, Jay-Z mouthed off "money aint a thang," and DMX barked for his dogs? It's comforting knowing that betwixt and between all that, there was think-piece Mos Def who put out records that hit you in the heart.

"Climb" has always been one of my favorite tracks off the classic 'Black on Both Sides' LP, so just getting my hands on a new remix is an automatic win. BUT to learn that it's coming from one of your favorite new producers from the Big Apple…now we're talking privilege.

Without further ado, KKS premieres Dash Speaks' remix of "Climb" by Mos Def. This track switches between four to the floor and halftime drums, leaning a bit further towards deep house, but taking elements from several genres still letting the original shine through.
