God of Fragrance Cold Rejuvenating an early 2000’s slow burner, God Of Fragrance (Austin Millz and Taavi Haapala) takes the despair in Ashanti’s “Foolish” and further alters it into a dark texturized affair. A haunting swirl of Ashanti’s painful confessions echo perfectly between a labyrinth of drum arrangements and icy landscapes of wailing synthesizers. Best listened to on a cold night, in a dimly lit room.
