[TICKET GIVEAWAY] The Magician + Caleb L'Etoile @ U Street Music Hall 11/6

Get ready DC! We've got more treats for you! The nice folks at U Street music Hall have provided us with a pair of tickets to give away to next Wednesday's show of The Magician with our very own Caleb L'Etoile! All you need to do is email us (wes@kickkicksnare.com to be exact) with 'Magician Tickets' in the title and we will choose one winner at random. If you're unsure or maybe just confused by the nature of awesomeness that appeals to you on today (the single greatest day of the year!), just check out the tunes below.

The Magician is a DJ extraordinaire from Belgium. He started out as one half of Aeroplane, but has since gone on to wow crowds on his own. His signature Magic Tape series is now in its 36th installment and had become his calling card, often brimming with exclusives and displaying the best of house, disco, and all the fun spaces in between.

His productions are nu disco dance floor fillers and he's remixed some indies biggest names (among the KKS favorites Lykke Li and Sam Sparro). His recent single "When The Night" has been making the blog rounds with its smooth neo-r&b house fused with nu disco touches.

Last week also showed the debut of his second single off what we hope soon evolves into an album. "Enchanted Land" is a twisted disco journey with an anthemic lead line, deep bass line and 90s piano stabs to boot.

Opening the show is KKS resident house fanatic Caleb L'Etoile, who's newest remix we posted yesterday but we'll plug it once more for good measure.
