Erik Hassle: Talk About It
After traveling the world, writing and recording new music, and intentionally taking time out of the limelight for a couple of years, the 25-year-old Swedish pop/soul singer and songwriter Erik Hassle is making a welcomed return with the release of his powerful new single, "Talk About It," set for release in the U.S on 11/05.
"Talk About It" reflects the minimal R’n’B sound akin to Hassle’s taste of late. Having lived in both Stockholm and London for the past few years, he found himself far more at ease in the studio, writing and recording darker melodies and lyrics that echoed recent life experiences; living in the city, falling in and out of love, and life as an early twenty-something male.
Erik’s new material has grown both sonically and lyrically, as he has also grown into a young man. But that signature voice -- heartfelt, with soul and insight -- remains the same, offering the listener intelligent-pop that is so often lacking in music these days.
