Chlöe Howl: Paper Heart

Chlöe Howl is the spunky new British pop starlet who has been making us move for quite some time now. (please see her ridiculously good Romours EP as proof). Chlöe mixes underground UK beats, R&B and left-field synth pop with her powerful vocals to make unexpected pop greatness. Think of Chlöe link P!nk but with ginger hair, less rock and a lot more synths.

Her newest single 'Paper Heart' proves she shows no signs of stopping. The track is an infectious little pop nugget. Pulsing bass line synths that instantly ignite like Robyn's 'Dancing On My Own', shimmering pop chords and melody that burst with euphoric energy like fellow Poptress, Betty Who, and the brightly melancholic lyrics that fit nicely between Frankmusik & Marina & The Diamonds. Like we said, its damn good pop.
