"Paris Is Burning", the iconic documentary about the ball culture in 1980's New York City, that has inspired young queer youth since the 1980's finally achieves mainstream saturation in Icona Pop's new video for 'All Night'. Now, this cultural milestone could easily lead to more essays than Miley's tongue & misguided love of black women's backsides, but Kick Kick Snare is not the place for that, The Altantic & HuffPo Gay we are looking to you. Instead we want to share a fun, well made video for a rather brilliant pop song. The clip for 'All Night' is part ball culture documentary, part Great Gatsby-esque excess, & part vodka commercial (okay all vodka commercial). We give ABSOLUT one thing, it knows how to get a target market behind a product, but if the outcome is great music reaching more people, should we really be upset?
