Scenic: Shockwaves + Roosevelt Remix
Cologne based singer/producer Roosevelt has put his magic touch on Australian disco-pop outfit Scenic, for their single 'Shockwaves'. Taken from their debut 'Shockwaves' EP, out on September 13th through Future Classic (Flume / Jagwar Ma / Flight Facilities), Scenic first came onto the scene in 2011, still in their teens, when the 4-piece released 'Another Sky'; a creamy slice of cosmic electronic pop, along with a typically classy disco edit from remixer du jour The Magician.
On the forthcoming EP, the band's sound has evolved, filtering their knack for the electronic through a psychedelic acid wash. The lead single and title track is sunny, tight and punchy, counterbalanced by the more contemplative 'Overflow' and the spacey epic 'Hours On End'.
