It might seem like something of a curve-ball for Rinse to be putting out a track rooted in disco, but there’s a razor sharp pop edge that sits perfectly alongside the smart, soulful and club-friendly mutations of his label mates. ‘Addiction’ (scheduled to be released September 22nd) is driven by a fat infectious analogue bassline and swirling strings, all capped off with a towering vocal performance from Jenna G.
