Carousel: Before You

Monday's have become a bit brighter this month thanks to Carousel. The now Palm Springs based duo, because come on, a desert paradise is by far a better choice to sweltering Brooklyn, have been sharing their new EP, 'Palms', with us, one track at a time, each monday until it's August release. Giving us the perfect escape from the Moody Monday's and the oppressive summer sun.

'Before You' is a new sound for Carousel, it still has the lush tender feel that has become their signature, but with a new and very unexpected twisted. Dark warbling synths and a subtle hip-hop vibe that we have never heard from them before. This new sound hints at recent influences and a broadening sound that showcases their emotional depth, vast creativity and willingness to experiment with their sonic brand.
