In The Valley Below: Peaches (Passion Pit Remix)

“Our biggest inspiration is powerful subjects like sex, crime and religion. And how that fits into the lives we've chosen, our dreams and struggles, mistakes and heartbreaks.”

Los Angeles rock duo In The Valley Below was created once Jeffrey Jacob & Angela Gail crossed paths after separately making their way to Los Angeles. Add hushed swirls of male and female vocals forged with dark stories of brooding riddles and romance, and there you'll have Capitol Records latest signing. And these two are not wasting any time letting the world know of their presence.

Yesterday brought the announcement of their upcoming tour supporting White Lies. The band will be playing a number of dates in October, including two nights at New York’s Bowery Ballroom on October 3rd & 4th, and capped off with a show at the El Rey Theater in their hometown of LA on October 10th. For full itinerary, see below.

Last but not least, we're excited to share with you Passion Pit's remix of In The Valley Below's lead single "Peaches." I'm feeling my favorite Robert Burns quote coming on. "Such a composition is like adding cream to strawberries — it not only gives the fruit a more elegant richness, but has a peculiar deliciousness of its own." Right? The original and remix are both available on iTunes, here.
