Carousel: Wolf's Awake

It is no secret that Kick Kick Snare, every last single member of the #HomeTeam, is a big fan of LA, by way of Brooklyn, by way of Boston (these guys never stop!), duo Carousel. After an busy spring of touring across the US with Mansions on the Moon, Kisses, and Com Truise and stops at the biggest music festivals, Carousel spent the beginning of summer soaking up the Palm Springs sun, the extra dose of Vitamin D has done them well.

We get out first taste of the desert influenced sound from the upcoming EP, Palms, which is due in August, with 'Wolf's Awake', showcasing a slight shift in their sound with a four to the floor beat that adds energy to Jackson's melodic vocals. Not to worry though, 'Wolf's Awake' is still lush with shimmering synths, soaring electric guitar rifts and hooks that sink in deep and refuse to let you escape their hypnotic grasp.
