Getting straight to the point. On November 8, 2019, Liz and Louie aka HOLYCHILD released their second studio album, “The Theatrical Death of Julie Delicious” and let’s just say it was a trust fall for me, and I was caught, then thrust into an adventure I’m still having a lifetime with. Highlights include “Fight For Me” and “Patron Saint” but it’s “Saturday” that earns the crown for f*cking me up. It’s a wake up call. It’s a cry for hope. It’s a lesson not only of vulnerability but also in how to masterfully put words together and leading-edge instrumentation wrapped around them. It’s always an exciting new chapter for HOLYCHILD, and will continue to be. If you get the chance, catch them live - they just announced new show dates for early 2020 here.
